Awarded 5 stars by Visit England, the cottage is beautifully furnished and equipped. Framed with the original wood beams to add warmth and character for every room, the cottage is light, airy and incredibly cosy.

Horseshoe Cottage is set within the grounds of the old Holburn Corn Mill and steeped in history. During the spring you’ll be surrounded by daffodils and new-born lambs, and in the autumn you’ll regularly spot the wild pheasants and hares leaping around the fields, whilst the bubbling Hetton Burn flows under the wooden bridge opposite. The country village of Belford is 6 miles east where you’ll find plenty of local and essential shops. Bamburgh beach is 12 miles away, as is the rest of the coastline.
