Outside Description

The front garden of The Oystercatcher is fully enclosed with a large lawn and pretty patio area. There is a table and chairs for four on the front patio.

To the rear of the garden, the patio area faces north with views of Bamburgh Castle in the distance. There is a table with seating for six guests. The log store is also situated at the back of the cottage. Both gardens have access gates so either entrance can be used when returning from a walk during your stay.

Downstairs Description

The lounge is accessed from the entrance hall and is situated at the front of the house, with two south facing windows looking out onto the large lawned garden. An impressive exposed brick fire place houses a real log burning stove.

Dining Area Large bi-folding doors from the lounge give the option of having the dining room separate, or as an open plan space with the living room.

The kitchen of The Oystercatcher is open plan to the dining room and is beautifully finished with wood worktops and luxury quality cabinets.

First Floor Description

Main Bedroom The largest bedroom of The Oystercatcher has a south facing window with plantation shutters, as well as a north facing, Velux window with blackout blind provided. The room contains a king size bed (5ft wide)

Bedroom Two – Double This room contains a double bed (4ft 6″ wide)

The third bedroom contains two full size single beds (3ft wide)

The family bathroom is newly fitted and very spacious, with gorgeous Amtico flooring and a Velux window in the sloped ceiling. The room contains a rainfall shower over the bath
