Outside Description

It is a single level property originally the old Estate Office where tennants would come to pay their rents to the Estate. It has been converted for selfcatering and is suitbale for poor mobility guests, with it’s wide doorways, drive in shower, wheelchair friendly bathroom, kitchen and gardens.

Downstairs Description

There is a large sitting-room with an open fire. The good sized bathroom (formerly the strong room) has a walk-in shower cubicle, bath, lavatory and wash hand basin.

There are two bedrooms, one with twin beds and the other with a single 3ft 6 inch wide Adjustamatic bed. A small put up bed can be requested for an additional young child in the single room.

The kitchen has an electric cooker, gas hob, washer/drier, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator and very small chest deep freezer with a large conservatory leading from the kitchen.

First Floor Description

Lawns and paving surround the house.

Tennis court available for use by cottage visitors. Tennis coaching and massage treatments are available by private arrangement. Private trout fishing is available.

  • Oystermouth Castle : Which is located in a beautiful location on the hill in Mumbles, overlooking Swansea Bay. Oystermouth Castle was used as the residence of the Marcher Lords of Gower, and as such was frequently under attack from the Welsh population. The earliest building is the keep which dates from the early 12th century. Visit website

  • Gower Heritage Centre: Which was established in 1990 as a countryside crafts centre situated in historical and beautiful surroundings. The 12th century water powered corn and saw mill was renovated, and experienced crafts people took up residence on site. Visit website
