There is a courtyard to the rear that is owned by the next door holiday cottage. Guests at Virginia Cottage have access through the courtyard and can use the table and chairs if the cottage next door is vacant.

The spacious lounge is furnished beautifully, with great attention to detail. It has a wood-burning stove and a large Georgian style window overlooking the pretty village lane
ccessed from the lounge and up 4 steps is a pretty, sky-lit rear hallway, from which the kitchen and bathroom lead off. The kitchen is well-equipped with a large fridge/freezer, electric fan-assisted oven, ceramic hob, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and kettle. There is a small breakfast bar with 2 stools and a glazed door opening out onto a pretty courtyard, giving access to the rear lane.
The bathroom is beautifully tiled in Travertine marble, with a WC, full size bath, mains shower above and wash hand basin.
First Floor Description
From the hallway stairs lead up to the large bedroom.
Bedroom with En-suite Washroom/WC With dual aspect windows providing views of the beautiful River Coquet and the rooftops of the village towards the ancient Norman St Lawrence’s Church, this spacious room has a double bed (4’6″ wide). There’s an en suite washroom with WC and wash hand basin. Bathrobes and luxury towels provided, along with complimentary The White Company toiletries.
Other Notes
Although there are parking spaces designated for the residents of Brewery Lane at the bottom of the lane, they are not reserved. If by chance all of these spaces are taken, more free parking is available just a further 30 yards down the road.
