Outside Description

Guests have access to the extensive arboretum in the Walcot Hall grounds where there are interesting trees samples, rhododendrons and our glamping accommodation. With the Shropshire Hills on your doorstep, there is plenty to explore outside of the estate but we even a pub on site if cooking a meal may seem too much like hard work after a day walking and exploring the local area.

Downstairs Description

nside the Wheelwright’s Shop you will find a large open plan kitchen, living and dining area with a wood burning stove for the cooler evenings. Cosy and eclectic furnishings make for a comfortable stay and there is even a Rayburn to keep you toasty during the winter months and to cook low and slow wholesome meals in during your time here. You will find a variety of quirky features in the Wheelwright’s Shop from carved wood samples, craftsmen’s retired tools and vintage items re-fashioned as something more useful – Walcot Hall love to up cycle!

First Floor Description

This self-catering cottage features a double bed on a mezzanine level with access via a beautiful handmade staircase and a double sofa bed in the living area (bedding and towels are provided). This area can be partitioned off with a pair of heavy curtains for privacy. Additional camp beds and travel cots can be arranged on request.
