We’re delighted to welcome The Quarterdeck at Coble Quay in Amble to our collection of luxury, privately-owned holiday properties in Northumberland. The view is spectacular, situated on the 2nd floor, looking over the yachts in Amble Marina and out to sea, over Warkworth beach dunes and up the Coquet Estuary to Warkworth Castle – it’s an artist’s paradise. As the tides and light change so does the vista, offering a fabulous place to relax and unwind. If you enjoy bird or wildlife spotting this is the place for you with many species, including seals, regularly seen from the balcony.

The Quarterdeck is situated on one of the most scenic stretches of National Cycle Route One, offering mostly off-road family-friendly cycling running up and down the coastline. Cycles for all ages can be hired locally, or if you bring your own there is secure cycle storage. There are a wealth of watersports available directly from Amble, all within easy walking distance of The Quarterdeck, see further details below. Boat trips to Coquet Island and the Farne Islands offer the opportunity to see seals, puffins and many other sea birds up close. There is a small beach within walking distance called The Little Shore, and just beyond this there is a waterplay area and children’s playground, perfect for families.

The Quarterdeck sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and is all one level from the parking bay to once inside the apartment. Pets are not permitted at The Quarterdeck.
