"The Farmhouse At A Corner Of Eden has won a Unique Holiday Cottages Country House Living Award. The Farmhouse is a Grade II listed Georgian farmhouse dating back to 1770, with most of it's original features having been lovingly restored. It's located at the end of its own lane, surrounded by beautiful countryside making it the perfect place for a relaxing rural retreat. The Farmhouse has so many features to love from the Butler's Pantry and real fires to the licenced Honesty Bar, it really does have the wow factor. "
Cumbrian Holiday cottages don’t come much grander than at A Corner of Eden, a Georgian Farmhouse renovated to become a relaxed self catering experience that luxuriates in the time honoured fabric of this historic building. This grade-two listed farmhouse located in the newly extended Yorkshire Dales National Park is a great place to chill out, explore the amazing surroundings (four legged friends are very welcome), or take part in a range of adventure activities. Just a stones throw away from the Lake District too, the choice of days out are plenty.
The whole place feels close to nature, whatever the season. Be enthralled by the wildflower meadows in Spring, hypnotised by swooping swallows in the heat of Summer, taken aback by the Autumn colours or mesmerised by the light on a frosty Winter morning. All year round the sunsets are incredible and the stars weigh heavy at night.
The Farmhouse sleeps up to 8 guests in four bedrooms (3 of which are doubles & 1 a twin/king), there are two bathrooms & an additional downstairs loo. Kitchen, lounge & separate Georgian dining room. Check out the amazing Dairy, a traditional cold storage room with it's own Honesty Bar!
