The front door opens into a light, open-plan living space, complete with a comfy sofa in front of the TV and a small dining table, which can double up as a work space if you want to catch up on your emails.

The separate kitchen is well equipped, with an oven, hob, fridge, separate freezer, microwave, washing machine, coffee machine and plenty of utensils, crockery and cutlery. A clothes airer is available if you need to dry washing.

The tranquil bedroom has a double bed, and the bathroom has a bath with shower over. There is constant hot water available and this is one of those unique cottages that works well throughout the winter too, with central heating creating a cosy getaway.
