Putham Barn is a dog-friendly self-catering cottage on the edge of the village, it's a detached property at the end of a quiet drive with stunning views over the Exmoor countryside. The property sleeps 2 guests in one double bedroom on a mezzanine level. The garden room provides a lovely space to enjoy the view.

The village is argued to be the highest on Exmoor, standing at 980 feet above sea level, and the highest point on Exmoor, Dunkery Beacon (1704 feet above sea level) is the focal point of the village. Dunkery Beacon is about three miles from the village, there are fantastic panoramic views from Dunkery; wild moorland to the west, the Bristol Channel and Wales to the north, the rolling Brendon Hills to the east and the Quarme Valley to the south.

The cottage has a mezzanine level where the double bed is situated, the ground floor is also spilt level comprising the kitchen and bathroom on the lower level and approx 6 steps lead up to the living room with garden room attached.
