he cottage is finished to a very high standard with oak beams and floors, log fire, leather sofa and chairs, dining for 6, flat screen TV and Bose CD/DVD home entertainment system, iPod docking station, Wifi, Shaker style kitchen with butlers sink, Smeg appliances, stable doors off 3 of the rooms, sleigh beds with Egyptian cotton bedding, a roll top bath in one bedroom and an en suite shower room in the other, fluffy White Company towels and luxury toiletries… and most importantly privacy, peace and quiet.

There are two double bedrooms and 1 single/twin comfortably sleeping from 2-5 (plus 1)

Other Notes

As the cottage is on the side of the fell there a number of steps inside the cottage and the garden. The cottage is very old so the beams and doorways are very low.

  • Wordsworth Museum: In Grasmere which was William Wordsworth’s home from 1799 to 1808. Here Wordsworth wrote much of his poetry, and his sister Dorothy kept her famous journals. Visit website
