Outside Description

Hornstone Cottage ha a spacious deck to the south, and a walled garden to the north. But the real beauty is the fields and woods beyond. Step out of the gate and you can roam the farm's 70 acres, discovering meadows and tree swings in the woods, and losing yourself in the wonder of the Golden Valley.

Downstairs Description

Leave your boots on the front porch and enter into a large stone-tiled hallway with view through to the deck and the woods beyond. To the right is the spacious farmhouse kitchen, with a large table for hearty dinners. Across the hallway is the master bedroom, with lovely views to the adjacent fields. Down some steps from the hall is the sitting room, with an open fire and lots of windows, while the bathroom with separate shower is opposite. Sliding doors lead to the spacious deck, perfect for enjoying the sunset.

First Floor Description

Upstairs there are two bedrooms in the eaves, one with a double, which can be made into two singles, and the other with two single beds.

Windows Views Description

All the rooms in Hornstone have exceptional views of the fields and woodland on the farm with the valley stretching beyond. It is an incomparable sight.

Other Notes

Westley Farm is a hill farm on the edge of the Cotswolds. There are steps and uneven surfaces inside the property. Please contact us if you think this might present you with difficulties.

Dogs Welcome: Pets are welcome at an additional charge of £25 per dog per stay.
Child Friendly: Suitable for children of all ages.
Group Getaways: See our other cottages on the farm, Jackdaw, which sleeps 4, and Cockshutt, which sleeps 4.
Farm Experience: Cattle and sheep will be grazing in the fields and in the autumn you will find us busy harvesting in the orchard.
Eco Escape: Westley Farm has long valued its natural environment and the farm is managed sensitively to encourage wildlife habitats. You may see wild orchids, rare butterflies, perhaps even dormice! We use environmentally friendly cleaning products.
Organic Options: We will provide you with a pint of organic milk from a local farm on arrival. All our cleaning products are eco-friendly.
