Outside Description

Coquet Cottage has a small outside seating area, furnished with a pretty table and chairs and set within a walled courtyard space to three sides. Deck chairs are also available. The courtyard area is exclusive to the cottage, and whilst there is a shared pathway to the adjacent cottage in front, it is very quiet indeed. This lovely space is west facing and gets sun late morning through to early evening – perfect for enjoying a coffee or evening aperitif. The owner also provides a picnic blanket for your use too if you were to take a picnic to one of Northumberland’s beautiful hot spots.

Downstairs Description

The entrance to Coquet Cottage is privately located at the rear of the cottage. There is private, off-road parking for one car approximately 20yds from the cottage.

The well-equipped kitchen has all the usual appliances you would find expect to find, including a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and kettle.

A wood-burning stove provides lovely ambient heat in the cooler months, although with full central heating, it’s not needed as a main source of heat.

First Floor Description

Master Bedroom On the first floor, the master bedroom has a beautiful double size (4ft 6″ wide) sleigh bed and a window overlooking the lovely countryside.

A second sitting room upstairs beneath the eaves may be set up as an additional single bedroom upon request – if pre-booked. There is a maximum of 2 persons permitted to stay at Coquet Cottage, therefore this may be useful if 2 guests require separate bedrooms.

The beautifully fitted bathroom has a bath with shower over, WC and wash hand basin.
