Outside Description

The gardens at The Old Forge have been completely redesigned and planted by the owner since the restoration of the building in 2008. The brick walls were built using bricks reclaimed form the original building and National Trust Polesdon Lacey copings to blend with the stone of the church wall.

Downstairs Description

The accommodation is all on the ground floor and benefits from natural stone floors with full oil fired under floor heating throughout. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with a range of oak units and a Stainless Steel Electric Range Cooker.

The open plan living area features a cosy wood burning stove set in a stunning brick fireplace which was modeled on one of the 3 original curved chimneys. Relax by the fire in one of the comfortable leather sofas as you enjoy a glass of wine or a great cup of Yorkshire Tea. A DVD and video player are provided so you can make the most of the Sony Flat Screen TV and a selection of novels and board games are available for your enjoyment.

There are two double bedrooms (1 en-suite) both with King Size beds and two twin bedrooms. The spacious family bathroom is fitted to the highest standards & contains bath with power shower over, sink, toilet & heated towel rail.
