The Watch Houses

Blackwater, Southwold, Suffolk, Seaside town

Consisting of two custom-built beach houses, located side by side without actually being joined, the Watch Houses are contemporary properties designed to blend in with their natural surroundings.

Located in a secluded and stunning Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Watch Houses boast one of Suffolk’s most peaceful locations. Both properties enjoy totally unspoilt views – one in the direction of Covehithe, while the other looks out towards Southwold’s iconic pier - with only a low-lying cliff-edge and a near-private beach separating you from the sea.

Recently finished to an exacting standard, each property is of the same design, comfortably sleeping four in two double bedrooms. All the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and the two bedrooms in each property are linked by a modern living / eating area.

The Watch Houses are a mere 5-minute bike ride or 15-minute walk on a private track from the charming seaside town of Southwold with its iconic beach huts, lighthouse and pier. It is also possible to drive along this track directly into Southwold town.

Built for comfort, location and awe-inspiring views, The Watch Houses are perfect for two families wanting to holiday together, whilst enjoying a small degree of separation, or for a larger family gathering. Each property is also available to rent separately
