Downstairs Description

Painted Lady is located at the north side of the lake with a back drop of mature oak and beech trees. She is tucked away from view and offers visitors complete privacy and access to an excellent fishing pool. Come on board via the spacious aft deck which also offers plenty of room to sit and watch the fish jumping, ducks chatting, enjoy a glass of wine and listen to their raucous laughter echo across the lake.

On board there is a spacious and airy salon with compact galley. Along the corridor lies the twin cabin and shower/wc next door. A little further on is the double cabin with ensuite shower/wc and access to its own private fore deck. The boat is moored to her own private jetty with an adjoining boathouse which offers more space to escape and read a book while looking out at the lake.

Windows Views Description

All windows either look out over the lake or the private lawn and jetty. . Visitors can sit out on the aft or fore deck to watch the birds coming and going or to fish for Rainbow Trout

Other Notes

If visitors can’t survive for a week without TV or their straighteners then this is definitely not for them! We are located about 20 minutes drive from the north Cornwall Atlantic coast or Darmoor National Park to the south. However, many of our visitors simply spend their break sitting by the lake, with their cars keys hanging in the boat.
