A simply wonderful end of terrace modernised fisherman's cottage, full of character in the heart of the historic harbour town of Fowey with a fantastic range of waterfront pubs, restaurants, shops and galleries just moments away. Terrific river views from the upper floors and an intriguing garden at the back! Beam Reach is a brilliant end of terrace cottage set right in the heart of the historic harbour town of Fowey. There is so much to see and do locally, this is just a great place to stay and is ideal for those who particularly want to be within walking distance to pubs and restaurants in the evenings. You can spend hours just wandering and exploring the narrow streets of Fowey, relaxing over a drink whilst watching the boats on the river in one of the many waterside cafes or pubs.
There is a great beach at Readymoney Cove or you can take the little passenger ferry to Polruan and walk along miles of coastal footpaths. The Eden Project, Lanhydrock Gardens or historic Charlestown with its Shipwreck Museum are all within an easy 20 minute drive of Fowey.
The cottage itself is presented in a lovely way with reverse level accommodation to take in the great views from the first floor. There are two twin bedrooms on the ground floor with a family bathroom and utility room to the rear. There are narrow stairs up from the ground floor entrance hall to the first floor kitchen, dining and living room which has fabulous views over the river. There are also very narrow, turning stairs from the first floor up to the master bedroom on the second floor. There is also access onto the rear terrace which leads into the steep terraced garden.
