This delightful property was converted from four stone workers' cottages and now boasts comfortable accommodation for four guests. Craiglands Cottage has stunning views over the Aire Valley and is situated in a perfect position on the moor to take advantage of the far reaching views from both inside and out. Relax on the window seats in the sitting room and bedrooms and soak in the vista; or enjoy some quiet time in the small study.
Craiglands Cottage has large double doors to welcome you into the open-plan living area with views onto the open countryside and hills beyond. The sitting room has an impressive fireplace and a multi-fuel stove to ensure you are warm and cosy whatever season you stay. Beamed ceilings and oak flooring give the room a traditional feel. The dining area is graced with a large solid wood dining table and chairs and leads to the well-equipped kitchen. On the first floor are two bedrooms, one of which features a convenient zip and link bed that can be configured as twin singles or a super-king size bed on request, a small study with desk and chair enjoys views up to the Pinnacle, a historic stone monument set on the crest of the moor above the cottage.
There is a parking area to the front of Craiglands Cottage. A large garden and terrace which is filled with attractive flower borders is accessed down stone steps which need to be managed with care, this area is shared with the neighbouring cottage. Sheep can be seen in the fields and there are often free range chickens wandering around. The neighbouring woodland houses more wildlife. Outside furniture is situated to take advantage of the views, beautiful at any time of the year.
