Sea Glass Cottage is a cosy, dog-friendly, beach-side cottage in a quiet West Cumbrian village, with unrivalled sea and sun-set views. Allonby is a former fishing village between Silloth and Maryport, within easy reach of the Scottish Borders, Hadrian's Wall and the Lake District, but well away from the crowds.
The cottage sleeps five (plus a cot) in three bedrooms and has been entirely renovated over the past four years. There is a large conservatory facing the beach, a wood-burning stove in the lounge and a well-equipped kitchen.
The cottage faces the sea and the dunes, a front row seat for spectacular sunsets, bird- and people-watching. It is a quick skip for dog walks on the beach and for beach combing, a popular activity with our guests. Round the corner is the children's play area. The Coastal Path walking and cycling route passes right in front of the cottage. There are two pubs in the village, plus other great restaurants within easy reach.
