The self-catering cottage is situated in the middle of the village of Slad with far reaching views across the Slad valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty immortalised in Laurie Lee’s book Cider with Rosie.
There are a huge selection of walks available from the house and one of the best pubs in the cotswolds just a short walk down the road - The Woolpack, just 300 metres from the cottage.
The cottage was formally two cottages until the 21st century when they were joined by the previous owners. The older half, has been both a blacksmith’s forge and a bakery in its history. During the renovation the character of the house was kept as much as possible while adding most of present day home comforts.
