St Michael’s Cottage has a private gravelled drive entrance with off road parking for 2 cars. There is a lawned garden to the front of the cottage with well stocked borders featuring many cottage garden favourites. To the rear of the cottage are fully enclosed gardens, partially laid to lawn with borders packed with colour and variety. The garden is beautifully designed and with 2 ponds and a waterfall feature, provide the ideal spot to relax & unwind. A terraced area accessed from the sitting room has a table and seating for 6 and a barbecue is provided for al fresco evenings.

Downstairs Description

A glazed door leads to the traditional kitchen with modern fitted units in sage tones. An island and breakfast bar allows for sociable cooking & entertaining, made easy with microwave, Rangemaster cooker, fridge/freezer and all mod cons. Sleek black granite surfaces complete the picture. The neighbouring dining area has a beautiful oak table with chairs and antique settle. At the far side of the kitchen another glazed door leads to the beautifully proportioned sitting room. Sumptuous carpet underfoot and 3 sofas guarantee creature comfort whilst overhead beams and the large inglenook fireplace provide character and a reminder of the building’s heritage.
