Outside Description

Set in the heart of Southrop, the garden of Culls Cottage lies to the rear of the cottage. It is a large garden, almost a 1/4 of an acre in size and was very neglegted and overgrown when we took it over in March 2009.

There are numerous places to sit and dine in the garden and outside lights have been placed throughout the garden for your enhanced enjoyment. However, we suggest that you stay out in the garden in the dark; one of the joys of Southrop is its night sky. The relative lack of light pollution here (there are no street lights) can lead to some spectacular starry nights.

Downstairs Description

The cottage has every modern comfort which will make your stay totally relaxing; the fully fitted kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and freezer. It is equipped for the gourmet chef with all the utensils, cookery books and cooking equipment you should need, as well as the finest wine glasses, white bone china place settings and a coffee espresso machine.

There are flat screen televisions in the lounge and master bedroom, together with CD and DVD facilities. There is a small library of hand picked books, information guides, maps and so forth, as well as games for all ages. We have complimentary wireless internet and honesty system telephone.

The three double bedrooms sleep up to six guests. The cottage also has a double sofa bed (in the lounge) should anyone wish to sleep separately. We also have a cot and high chair which we are happy to provide free of charge.
