Downstairs Description
Living/Dining area: from the hall you enter a comfortable living/dining area with ample seating for seven people in both areas. The living area has two comfy sofas, bean bags and a coal effect gas fire plus a flat screen Smart TV with Freeview channels and Sonos sound system. The dining area seats seven comfortably around a modern shaker style table. Kitchen: lovely light, new, well equipped kitchen leading directly off the dining area. Cloakroom: opening off the hall with WC and wash basin.
First Floor Description
Bedroom 1: king size bedroom with basin.
Bedroom 2: triple bedroom with a single bed and bunk bed. This is a lovely, bright room with a west facing window.
Bedroom 3: king size bedroom, elegantly decorated with high ceilings and a large sash window.
Family bathroom: bath with shower over, basin fitted into a cabinet, WC and heated towel rail.
Tourist Attractions:
- Thelnetham Windmill: A small tower mill with patent sails, built in 1819. It worked until 1924. Restored to working order 1980-87 by members and friends of the Suffolk Mills Group. Visit website
- Grime’s Graves: Is the only Neolithic flint mine open to visitors in Britain and well worth a visit. This grassy lunar landscape of 400 pits was first named Grim’s Graves by the Anglo-Saxons. It was not until one of them was excavated in 1870 that they were identified as flint mines dug over 5,000 years ago. Visit website
- Stanton Windmill: A post mill, one in which the whole of the superstructure, complete with sails and all machinery, turns on top of a single post. It has been restored back to its former glory over the last twenty years and is the only windmill in Suffolk regularly producing flour, and one of only a handful of post mills still in working order in the UK. - Thetford Priory: The extensive remains of one of the most important East Anglian monasteries, the Cluniac Priory of Our Lady of Thetford and the burial place of the earls and dukes of Norfolk for 400 years. Visit website

- The Regatta : is a luxurious restaurant located on Aldeburgh’s Highstreet serving all kinds of dishes and a large selection of drinks available. From April to September the emphasis of the menu is on locally caught fish and seafood. However, there is vegetarian, poultry and meat dishes available all year round. Visit website
- Lighthouse Restaurant : Is another of the main restaurants in the town, that has a great range of quality and food that will delight, service is really attentive. The ambience is slightly more relaxed than the Regatta, so you can have fine dining but without too much formality. Visit website

- The Suffolk Coastal Cycle Route: Is based on a circular signed route on quiet roads, linking coastal villages between Felixstowe to Dunwich and then looping inland via the market towns of Framlingham and Woodbridge. Visit website
- Aldeburgh Golf Club.: This Championship Course is ranked 31st in England by Golf World and is built on maritime heathland and is characterised by gorse-lined fairways and far reaching views of the River Alde and the North Sea. - Aldeburgh Has 2 Sailing Clubs: Both are located at the Slaughden Road end of the beach. Racing is held on Saturdays and bank holidays from the beginning of April to mid December. Visit website
