Outside Description

At the front of the property is a small garden which is crazy paved with shrub borders behind low wall with wrought iron pedestrian gate. To the rear is a private walled courtyard with table and chairs for dining outside.

It's an easy walk to all village amenities, Porlock is a wonderful working Exmoor village boasting three pubs, two grocery shops, a traditional local butcher, chemist, cash machine, hardware shop, visitor centre, several art galleries and a range of independent restaurants, shops and tea rooms.

Downstairs Description

The ground floor is largely open-plan; the sitting room has a wood-burner with comfortable seating and TV, and French door out to the rear courtyard area. The superb kitchen-dining room is spacious and includes modern appliances such as an integrated induction hob, eye level oven with warming drawer, dishwasher, tall fridge-freezer, kettle and toaster. Ample crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils are also provided.

Staying on the ground floor there is a large utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, sink, microwave and a separate cloakroom with toilet and hand basin.

First Floor Description

two bedrooms, one double and one twin, both with views towards the surrounding hills. The double bedroom has a king-sized bed and an en-suite wet room including toilet and hand basin. There is also a family bathroom on the first floor which comprises bath with mixer tap and hand shower attachment, toilet and hand basin.

Second Floor Description

there are two further bedrooms, both with double beds, and with views to the surrounding hills. Both also have en-suite shower rooms including toilets and hand basins.

Dogs Welcome: two well-behaved dogs (downstairs only please) for a supplementary fee of £15 per dog per booking. Sadly it cannot accommodate four legged friends who chew furniture, bark excessively or enjoy sleeping upstairs.
