Ball Cottage has all the character you would expect from a 17th century cottage: wood and tile floors, an open fire and disused bread oven in the sitting room, and a leaded window upstairs. There are roses climbing up the wall. The cottage has a large garden at the front and back, with a beautiful spot to sit beside the River Exe and a packhorse bridge. When the river is low, children can have a great time paddling and exploring under the bridges.
Ball Cottage stands on the edge of Winsford, a beautiful village in Exmoor National Park, beside the quiet Exford road. It’s an easy stroll into the village.
