Outside Description
The long garden is north-west facing, so certainly gets the sun the best in the later afternoon and evening. There’s a table and chairs to sit out and a secure shed for storing bikes. The garden is enclosed with a 4ft dry stone wall, split level lawns, borders and shrubs and overlooks the Embleton Dene, making a very pleasant space to sit out and enjoy the fresh air. There’s a large apple tree in the garden where you can help yourself to apples. A dry stone wall runs between the cottage and the Dene.
Downstairs Description
Enter into the porch that leads directly into the lounge or kitchen. You can leave wet wellies or muddy boots here to dry.
The Kitchen The kitchen has been beautifully restored and has dual aspect windows, one of which looks out to the grassy Dene.
The dining table seats 4 guests.
The gorgeous, cosy lounge also has windows looking out over the garden out to the Dene. Focusing on the wood burning stove in the inglenook fireplace (an initial supply of logs provided between October and April),
The laundry room is a great place for dogs to dry off and to keep wet coats and muddy boats. It houses the washing machine and has a drying rack too.
The downstairs cloakroom has a WC, wash hand basin and a towel rail.
First Floor Description
Master Bedroom. This pretty room has a king size bed (5ft wide.
Twin/Super king Bedroom This equally spacious bedroom offers twin single beds (3ft wide) and the option to convert these into a super king size (6ft wide) if you would prefer.
The gorgeous, Victorian-inspired bathroom is dominated by the claw foot roll-top bath – with a shower over – which is just perfect for a good soak after a long walk on the beach. In addition to the fabulous bath tub, you will find a wash basin.
