A Romantic Retreat in the Pretty Coastal Village of Embleton Lost Lobster Cottage is a traditional village home, brimming with character which overlooks the Dene – a quiet open space in the heart of the quaint coastal village of Embleton. This gorgeous cottage has been completely renovated, stripped back to the bare stone and lovingly restored back to its original form – with all the modern luxuries, of course!

Lost Lobster Cottage is situated in a central part of the pretty little village of Embleton, just a few minutes walk from beautiful Embleton beach (16 minutes to be exact!). There’s a choice of 3 great pubs in the village – all with restaurants – all of which serve good food, as well as a village store for essentials. Embleton is on the Coastal Route which leads north to Low Newton, Beadnell, Seahouses and Bamburgh, or south down to Boulmer, Craster, Alnmouth and Warkworth. The village is very central for exploring all of the quaint villages on our stunning coastline, as well as in land to Alnwick and beyond. The cottage sleeps 4 guests and welcomes up to 3 dogs. There’s private parking, a large enclosed garden and pretty views over the Dene for sunny days and balmy evenings. You can even help yourself to apples from the blooming apple tree in the garden! It has a wood burning stove in the lounge (of course!) and a fabulous claw foot roll-top bath in the Victorian-inspired bathroom, for cosy, romantic nights in. Lost Lobster Cottage is a truly gorgeous escape in a beautiful Northumbrian village setting.
