There are many wonderful things to see and do in this part of North Wales. The Piggery’s great location starts immediately on the doorstep, with approximately 30 acres of the owners’ land you’re welcome to explore. It includes woodlands, meadows and natural ponds - lots of places to enjoy a private picnic and watch and listen out for the abundance of wildlife. A welcoming pub that serves food is within easy walking distance, while Conwy and Betws-y-Coed are within 10 minutes’ drive. In Conwy, as well as the spectacular castle, you’ll find a small historic quayside and nearly a mile’s length of medieval walls around the town, all of which can be walked.

Also nearby is the world renowned Bodnant Gardens and its Welsh food centre, home to a fine shop and restaurant among other attractions. This part of the world has also become the adventure capital of the UK, with many zip lines and high ropes courses to try, as well as Surf Snowdonia and Bounce Below - where you jump around and clamber on trampolines and suspended netting tunnels deep inside old slate caverns!
