Moss Bank House In Conwy

Conwy, Gwynedd, Seaside town

A recently renovated Victorian terrace, Moss Bank House is found just outside Conwy’s UNESCO World Heritage site’s town walls and castle. It’s the perfect spot from which to enjoy the many charms of this wonderful small town, and yet still be within easy driving distance of Snowdonia, North Wales’ beaches and the stunning natural beauty of the Conwy Valley.

The owners have sympathetically restored the house, keeping original features while adding contemporary notes that give you all the comforts of modern living. You can glimpse Conwy castle through the trees from the small sun trap front garden, but in colder weather you’ll be happier curled up on the sofa in the living room in front of the log burner. Each bedroom has its own decorative theme, while the layout of the communal areas makes for a sociable holiday home.

Conwy boasts the highest amount of independent shopping for any town in the UK. So once you’ve explored the castle’s ramparts, the three-quarters-of-a-mile of town walls, and the historic small quayside, dive down the little town’s narrow streets and discover great little stores and numerous wonderful places to eat and drink. The nearest sandy bay is only a few miles away, while open mountain walking is just as close. Cyclists will be delighted to discover that the Victorian seaside resort of Llandudno is a flat, mostly car-free ride away, while other beaches can be reached on two wheels via the North Wales coast long-distance path and cycle route.
