The cottage includes a secure and pretty cottage garden with separate areas for lounging, exploring or al fresco dining: the outside table and chairs sit in an elevated position at the top of the garden with views to the church beyond – a blissful rural idyll. A traditional Shepherd's hut provides a peaceful spot for an afternoon snooze, the ideal place to curl up with a book or simply the answer to every child's prayer - the stuff holiday dreams are made of!
Myrtle has a front and back door but it makes sense to unload your car and enter at the rear of the cottage into an Entrance Hall. To your right is a very useful and thoughtfully equipped Utility Room with washing machine, tumble dryer.
To the left is a corridor along which you'll find a spacious Shower Room which also acts as a downstairs cloakroom.
The corridor leads to a ground floor Sitting Room with french doors which open to the pretty cottage garden beyond. A staircase rises from this space to a Double Bedroom above with Ensuite Bathroom.
Living Room is to your left: there’s ample space for the whole family to gather by the fire with 2 x 2 seater sofas and 2 comfy armchair.
Spacious Kitchen/Diner, light and airy with seating enough for 6.
First Floor Description
To the left the spacious Master Bedroom with indulgent king sized bed and to the right an equally spacious Twin bedded Room: both with low casement windows and exposed beams creating oodles of period charm. Lots of hanging space for clothes and lamps for bedtime reading. On the landing there’s ample space and a writing desk with phone point for those who need to work or study. The large family Bathroom sits between both bedrooms and opposite the study area: there’s a bathtub with shower attachment, sink, WC and heated towel rail.
