The very large and spacious rooms of Wavecrest, a fabulous detached holiday cottage tucked away in the sandy side-streets of Rhosneigr, make this a very comfortable holiday home for four people. At the heart of the Isle of Anglesey’s home of watersports and one of North Wales’ most popular and best-loved resorts, Wavecrest is comfortably furnished and designed so that rooms flow into one another to create a sociable place to stay while affording spots where you can find your own space as well. The French doors open out onto a wonderful little suntrap, great for enjoying the summer weather in complete privacy. At Wavecrest you are just a few minutes’ stroll from Rhosneigr’s lively bars, restaurants and surf shops. Speaking of surf, if you’re a water baby then you’ll appreciate Wavecrest’s wet room on the ground floor.
Rhosneigr is perfectly located for exploring Anglesey’s 125-mile long coastline. Nearby there are great sandy beaches, including those at Newborough, Llanddwyn and Aberffraw, as well as quiet country lanes and off-road paths great for walkers and cyclists. A trip onto Holy Island is well worth making, past the port of Holyhead to South Stack and its spectacular lighthouse and tall sea cliffs. Look out for puffins in season!
